French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu and the Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov have signed a contract on Feb. 1 for the delivery of a short-range air defence system, including a Ground Master 200 radar.
The comprehensive air defense solution includes a command-and-control centre, a radio communications system and air target designators.
Both ministers also toured the Thales site in Limours, south of Paris during the signing ceremony. Today, Thales’s Limours site is widely recognized as Europe’s premier center of excellence in the field of air defense.
