Bell Textron Canada Ltd., a subsidiary of Textron Inc., has confirmed the procurement of six Bell 407GXi helicopters by the Ministry of Defence of Argentina. The purchase agreement, signed with the Canadian Commercial Corporation, strengthens Argentina’s search and rescue capabilities.

The Bell 407GXi helicopters are well-suited for high-altitude environments and will be utilized by the Argentinean Air Force and Army for search and rescue missions in the country’s mountainous terrain.
John Ramos, Managing Director for Latin America at Bell Textron Canada, expressed confidence in the platform, citing its proven performance in high-altitude environments. The helicopters will be divided, with three assigned to the Argentine Army and three to the Argentine Air Force.
