B-52 diversion to Yokota air base, Japan

A U.S. Air Force B-52H bomber was forced to make a diversion to Yokota air base Japan, due to an in-flight maintenance issue, the service said on Jul. 12.


The bomber landed safely at 10:22 a.m. local time. The aircraft is assigned to the 5th Bomb Wing at Minot Air Force Base.
