USAF embraces automation with Project Kinetic Cargo

Honeywell and ST Engineering team up: Modernizing Tunisian C-130s for enhanced operations

The humid Singaporean air hung heavy as the crew of the Tunisian Air Force C-130 banked southward, preparing for descent. Lush greenery carpeted the landscape below, a stark contrast to the familiar arid terrain of their home base over 10,000 kilometers away. After a grueling two-day journey that began on Feb. 17th in Tunis, their mission was finally nearing its end. Their hulking C-130, a workhorse of the Tunisian Air Force, was heading towards Paya Lebar Airbase, not for routine maintenance, but for a transformative upgrade courtesy of ST Engineering Defence Aviation Services (STEDAS).

Hungary doubles down on Gripen: Saab secures order for four more fighters

F-15E touch down on taxiway

In a bold demonstration of adaptability, an F-15E Strike Eagle from the 366th Operations Group of the United States Air Force successfully landed on a taxiway instead of the designated runway at Mountain Home Air Force Base on Feb. 21st. This unorthodox maneuver marked the culmination of Phase One of Operation Garrison Forward, a two-part exercise designed to test the 366th Fighter Wing’s ability to operate under austere conditions.
