The final U.S. Air Force combat mission over Iraq was flown by two F-16s piloted by Colonel Rodney Petithomme, 332nd Expeditionary Operations Group commander, and Lt. Col. Jason Plourde, 79th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron commander.
