Boeing and the U.S. Navy has figured out how to use the EA-18G to carry out “stand-off passive precision targeting.”
The concept was validated in mid-July during the Trident Warrior 2013 exercise. A EA-18G employed time difference of arrival (TDOA) techniques, net-centric collaborative targeting (NCCT), and a new datalink to prove the concept.
