Lockheed Martin acquires High-Speed Wind Tunnel

Lockheed Martin has purchased the High Speed Wind Tunnel (HSWT) in Grand Prairie, Texas, from Triumph Aerostructures.

The HSWT and a facility in Missouri are the only two polysonic (subsonic-transonic-supersonic), adjustable Mach-number wind tunnels in the U.S.

Lockheed Martin plans to make investments to improve the facility.
