Conflicting reports from Iran on whether it test-fired long-range missile

Iran’s defense minister refuted an Iranian media report that a ballistic missile with a range of 2,000km was tested two weeks, hours after it was published.

Tasnim News Agency had quoted Brig. Gen. Ali Abdollahi, who is the deputy chief of staff for the Army, on the test firing. But Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehghan denied that such testing took place.
