Speaking to Breaking Defense, Lt. Gen. Neil Thurgood, says the common hypersonic glide body (C-HGB) will undergo five more flight tests before production starts in fourth quarter FY23.
Thurgood, who is the head of U.S. Army’s Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO), added that the next test flight is in third quarter of next year.
