Lockheed Martin to develop airborne EW pod for anti-ship missile defense

In order to expand the detection range of the SLQ-32 electronic warfare system on board its warships, the U.S. Navy has tasked Lockheed Martin to come up with an electronic warfare pod to be mounted on the MH-60 naval helicopter.

China sent H-6 bomber to Spratly Islands

An anonymous U.S. official disclosed that China had sent a H-6 bomber around the Spratly archipelago last weekend. It was the second such flight in a month.

New Zealand says no talks with Japan on C-2, P-1

A spokesperson from the New Zealand Defense Force has refuted a report by Nikkei Asian Review that there were discussions regarding the Kawasaki P-1 maritime patrol aircraft and C-2 cargo plane.
