The Royal Thai Air Force plans to expand its fleet of H225M search-and-rescue helicopters from six to eight aircraft with the latest announcement from Airbus Helicopters of an order for two rotor-craft.

Taiwan closes airport for 3 hours after F-16B nearly veered off runway

Taiwan authorities were forced to close Chiayi airport for three hours on the morning of Oct. 5 after a F-16B nearly veered off the runway while landing.

RCAF to request $500 million for upgrade of CF-18

Taiwan aborted attempt to shot down Sky Bow II interceptor with Patriot

Taiwan had planned to shoot down its indigenous Sky Bow II interceptor with the American Patriot air defense system on Oct. 5 but the countdown was aborted after a China Coast Guard vessel was found lurking nearby.
