U.S. Navy honors F/A-18 for 35 years of distinction

The F/A-18 Hornet community celebrated the 35th anniversary of the aircraft’s first flight during a ceremony Dec. 9 in the Rear Adm. William A. Moffett building atrium at NAS Pax River.

New missile range instrumentation ship successfully passes trials

The U.S. Navy has successfully conducted final contract trials of USNS Howard O. Lorenzen in San Diego. The missile range instrumentation ship will be the replacement for USNS Observation Island.

U.S. Army could scrap its OH-58 Kiowa Warrior fleet

The U.S. Army could retire its entire OH-58 Kiowa Warrior fleet and transfer National Guard Apaches to active units to fill the scout helicopter role.

Night Stalkers activate Gray Eagle company
