The military of Yemen that is fighting the Saudi Arabian-led coalition has modified the S 75’s surface-to-air missiles into unguided rockets. The new Qahir 1 rocket was launched at King Khalid Air Base in Saudi Arabia during one attack on Dec. 13.

Israel plans to install Iron Dome interceptors on Sa’ar 5-class corvettes
While waiting for its Sa’ar 6-class corvettes to be delivered by Germany, Israel has decided that it will install the C-Dome system on its Sa’ar 5-class corvettes as an interim measure.

Turkey is likely to buy air defense system off-the-shelf as stop-gap measure

First successful intercept for Arrow-3
The Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO) of the Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D) and the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) successfully carried out the first intercept for the Arrow-3 interceptor on Dec. 10.
