JASDF scrambled 390 times for first half of 2021, majority are Chinese aircraft

The latest figures by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) revealed that it had carried out 390 scrambles for the first half of this year. This is for the period beginning in April and till the end of September.

1st SFG (A) receives training on the FIM-92

OKINAWA, Japan – A U.S. Army Green Beret with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), fires a training round with the Stinger Missile System during a field exercise hosted by the Marine Low Altitude Air Defense Unit on Sept. 9, 2021 at Okinawa, Japan.
