A British Army Thales Watchkeeper unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on finals to land at ParcAberporth airfield in Wales on Oct. 16, 2014 crashed instead due to a software bug that activated the drone’s landing procedures prematurely.

The U.S. Air Force Academy’s Falcon football team debuted a new “sharktooth” football helmet that features the familiar noseart found on the A-10 Thunderbolt II.
The Israeli Air Force is evaluating the AgustaWestland AW119, Airbus Helicopters H125 and Bell Helicopter 407GXP as replacement for its Bell 206 training helicopter at the flying academy.
