Aircraft and ships from Australia, South Korea and United States participating in the Rim of the Pacific 2016 exercise took turns to hit decommissioned Perry-class frigate USS Thach (FFG 43) with various weapons during a sinking exercise (SINKEX) 55 nautical miles north of Kauai, Hawaii.

First female commander of U.S. Air Force Reserve Command
