F-117 might finally be going to the Boneyard
Although retired in 2007, the U.S. Air Force has maintained the F-117 fleet in a condition that allowed the fleet to be reactivated one day if needed. Now the U.S. Congress is ready send those mothballed aircraft from their climate-controlled hangars at Tonopah Test Range to the Davis–Monthan Air Force Base for scrapping.

Watch the F-22 do a low-level pass in Lithuania
Two F-22s and one KC-135 arrived at Šiauliai Air Base Air Base, Lithuania on Apr. 27. Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė was there to welcome the airmen from 95th Fighter Squadron and 100th Air Refuel Wing.

Israel developed the first app for the F-35
Aviation Week looks at the implications of having operators write their own software applications that will run inside the mission computers of the F-35. Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is the first company to do so for the Israeli Air Force.
