A cruise ship, Le Boreal, had an engine room fire that left it drifting off the Falkland Islands. The Royal Air Force dispatched a number of helicopters and aircraft to assist in the evacuation of passengers and crew aboard the ship.

Italian Minister of Defense Roberta Pinotti and her Dutch counterpart Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Brussels for Dutch pilots to receive flight training using the Italian Air Force’s M-346 on Nov. 17.
