Gen. Lori Robinson, commander of the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), told reporters that Australia and United States have reached an agreement to conduct bomber and tanker rotations through Australia’s RAAF Base Tindal.

Details such as the number of aircraft and timings are still being negotiated, Robinson added.
The Force Posture Initiative was announced by former Australian Prime Minister Gillard and U.S. President Obama in November 2011.
