U.S. preparing to sell 8 F-16s to Pakistan

The New York Times reported that the Obama administration has informed Congress of a potential FMS of eight F-16s for Pakistan.

The F-16V has flown for the first time at Edwards Air Force Base on Oct. 16, Lockheed Martin announced. The major difference in the variant is the inclusion of a APG-83 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Scalable Agile Beam Radar (SABR).

EMD-1 is now flying in receiver formation behind KC-10, KC-135 at Edwards
