Japan is expected to buy at least one Global Hawk in fiscal 2015. To achieve that goal, Tokyo will spend $2 million for research on the Global Hawk in the fiscal 2014 budget.

A previously unknown Shenyang J-11B radar test bed has been revealed in a CCTV news report on the PLAAF test pilot fraternity. The pitot tube on the radome has been offset to a position above the radome. Fast forward to 2 minutes and 8 seconds into the video.

Vietnam orders 12 Su-30s
Interfax reported that Vietnam last week signed an agreement for 12 Su-30 fighters. This is the country’s third order of the fighters.
