1st Reconnaissance Squadron celebrates centennial

The 1st Reconnaissance Squadron at Beale Air Force Base, Calif., celebrated its 100th anniversary March 7-9 as the oldest flying unit in U.S. military aviation.

Iranian F-4 tried to intercept MQ-1 escorted by 2 American fighters

An Iranian F-4 fighter jet tried to intercept an unarmed U.S. MQ-1 over international waters on Mar. 12. The fighter broke off 16 miles from the UAV after a verbal warning by two U.S. fighters escorting the drone.

12 SAAF Gripens mothballed
