RoKAF frontline fighters escort KC-330 carrying remains of Korean independence fighter

The remains of Hong Beom-do, a historic Korean independence fighter, were brought home from Kazakhstan on Aug. 15 using a KC-330. The Republic of Korea Air Force (RoKAF) sent six of its frontline fighters to escort the aerial refueling tanker when the aircraft entered South Korea’s air defense identification zone.

RAAF C-17 assists USMC in HIRAIN training mission

The U.S. Marine Rotational Force ā€“ Darwin (MRF-D) has carried out its first HIMARS Rapid Infiltration (HIRAIN) training mission with the help of a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-17.

U.S. Marines with High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems platoon, Marine Rotational Force ā€“ Darwin drive a HIMARS off of a Royal Australian Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aircraft after a combat landing during Exercise Loobye at Bradshaw Field Training Area, NT, Australia, Aug. 12, 2021. HIMARS were loaded onto the C-17 at RAAF Darwin and flown to BFTA as part of a HIMARS rapid infiltration demonstration during a bilateral exercise with MRF-D and the Australian Defence Force. 82-0025 flew final flight honoring fallen F-15 pilot

F-15C, #82-0025, flew its final flight on Jul. 30 and the 40th Flight Test Squadron decided to take the opportunity to honor the late Maj. James Duricy.
