34th FS temporarily relocating to Mountain Home AFB

The 34th Fighter Squadron will move its F-35As to Mountain Home Air Force Base over the next two months as Hill Air Force Base reconstructs its runway.

A formation of F-35A Lightning IIs, from the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings, fly over the Utah Test and Training Range as part of a combat power exercise on Nov. 19, 2018. The exercise aims to confirm their ability to quickly employ a large force of jets against air and ground targets, and demonstrate the readiness and lethality of the F-35. As the first combat-ready F-35 units in the Air Force, the 388th and 419th FW at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, are ready to deploy anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice. South Korea to lift grounding of F-16s, fuel starvation was cause of crash in February

South Korea has completed its investigation into the crash of a F-16D into the Yellow Sea on Feb. 27. The air force will start to lift the grounding of the jets.
