The official YouTube channel for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum recently uploaded the video of President Reagan at the United States Air Force (USAF) Academy Graduation on May 30, 1984. It was at that graduation ceremony that William John “Bill” Crawford – then working as a janitor at the academy – was presented his Medal of Honor for gallantry actions in Italy, 1943.
The coup in Turkey last year has thinned the ranks of its F-16 pilots and Turkey had wanted to recruit instructors from Pakistan to train more pilots. However, the move has been blocked by the Pentagon.
