Lawmakers still support continued funding of JLENS

The Los Angeles Times sought comment on the fate of JLENS from all 35 members of the defense appropriations subcommittees in the House and Senate and none of them voiced opposition to continued funding in the next defense budget.

U.S. readying $1 billion arms sale to Taiwan

The U.S. government will soon inform Congress on the sale of $1 billion worth of military equipment to Taiwan, including a AH-64E to replace one that was lost earlier.

Another fatal U.S. Army helicopter crash

Four U.S. soldiers were killed when their UH-60 helicopter went down in the northeast portion on the Fort Hood Range on Nov. 23.

U.S. Army Apache crashed in South Korea, 2 killed

A U.S. Army AH-64 attack helicopter went down in Wonju in Gangwon province, South Korea today. Both crew members did not survive the crash.

Indian Army’s Nishant fleet just lost its remaining UAV

Just as the Indian Army was preparing to phase out its Nishant UAV fleet, the last remaining aircraft crashed near Pokhran in Rajasthan on Nov. 19.
