U.S. to station attack helicopter squadron in South Korea permanently

The U.S. Army will station an attack helicopter squadron in South Korea permanently. This was confirmed by the Pentagon’s Global Posture Review (GPR) on Nov. 29.

South Korea’s National Defense Committee cross out budget to buy attack helicopters

South Korea’s National Defense Committee has cut back next year’s defense budget by $375 million.

An AH-64 Apache augmented to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade provides attack support to ground forces Sept. 21 at the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex in South Korea.
