South Korea plans to buy up to 36 attack helicopters by 2028

South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) says the defense project promotion committee has approved the purchase of around 36 attack helicopters.

An AH-64 Apache augmented to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade provides attack support to ground forces Sept. 21 at the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex in South Korea.

Japanese and U.S. forces carried out their largest joint airdrop training exercise

More than 500 Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) paratroopers performed a static-line jump at the Combined Arms Training Center Drop Zone Camp Fuji, Japan on Mar. 9. This is the largest U.S-Japan personnel drop in the history of the two countries’ alliance.
