BAE Systems modifying Hawk with new wing design

Jane’s has learn from BAE Systems on the latter’s plan to modify its own Hawk Mk.100 advanced jet trainer with new leading edges and slats. The modifications are expected to improve the aerodynamic performance of the 42 year-old aircraft.

Pakistan no longer buying F-16s from U.S. will approach Jordan instead

Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said his Islamabad has given up hope of buying F-16s from the United States, his country will now source second-hand aircraft from Jordan instead.
