Boeing given contract to sell 24 AH-64Es to Qatar
The U.S. government has given Boeing a $667 million contract to supply 24 AH-64E attack helicopters to Qatar. Approval of the sale came through in 2014.

First M346 for Poland unveiled
Aermacchi unveiled the first M346 advanced jet trainer for Poland at its plant in Venegono-Superiore on Jun. 6. The event was attended by the Polish Deputy Defense Minister, Bartosz Kownacki, the State Under Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Gioacchino Alfano, and by the Managing Director of Leonardo-Finmeccanica Aircraft, Filippo Bagnato.
Canada to buy Super Hornet before launching fighter competition
According to Canada’s National Post, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet has decided that buying an interim fleet of Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornets is the way to go while procrastinating on how to proceed with the new fighter competition.
