Boeing given contract to sell 24 AH-64Es to Qatar

The U.S. government has given Boeing a $667 million contract to supply 24 AH-64E attack helicopters to Qatar. Approval of the sale came through in 2014.

With the sale, Qatar joins Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Taiwan as foreign operators of the latest Apache model.
