Hawgsmoke 2016 won by 47th Fighter Squadron

The 47th Fighter Squadron has emerged as the winners of this year’s Hawgsmoke competition. It was the second consecutive win for the squadron.

Flight lead of the team, Capt. David “Gnome” Knighton, was named overall “Top Gun” and this is the first time in the competition’s history that the flight lead of the winning team is also the best overall pilot in the competition.
