Mi-8AMTSh-VA to be handed over to Russia’s military on Nov. 25
Russian Helicopters will hand over the first Mil Mi-8AMTSh-VA to the military on Nov. 25 to kickoff state trials. The Mi-8AMTSh-VA is a variant of the Mi-8 designed for service in the Arctic region.

UAE orders 3 AW-609s for search-and-rescue duties
The United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Defense has ordered three AW-609s from AgustaWestland for search-and-rescue duties. They will be assigned to UAE’s Joint Aviation Command.
