Thales will assist the Qatar Armed Forces with developing an Optionally Piloted Vehicle – Aircraft. The aircraft, able to fly with or without a pilot on board, will carry out intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance roles.

Qatar buys AH-64E, 737 AEW&C, A330 MRTT, NH90, PAC-3
Qatar has just announced a massive spending program to buy 24 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters and three Boeing 737 Airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft, 22 NH90 helicopters, one PAC-3 air defense system, and two A330 MRTT tankers.
