The U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J pilot who landed his plane safely in a farmer’s field in California after a mid-air collision with a F-35B has received the Distinguished Flying Cross.
The U.S. Marine Corps will have a second aggressor squadron by 2024 when VMFT-402 is declared safe for flight in 2024 at MCAS Beaufort.

Despite facing retirement within this decade, the U.S. Marine Corps’ AV-8B is going strong and the mission capable rate is now at 83 percent thanks to the hard work from the folks at Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support’s (NAVSUP WSS) AV-8B Harrier Integrated Weapon Support Team (IWST).
