1st Lt. Brenda McCarthy became the last female U.S. Marine Corps Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) when she graduated from VT-86 on May 27.

USMC wishes to buy 48 Tomahawk Blk Va anti-ship cruise missiles

The U.S. Marine Corps has requested to buy 48 Tomahawk Blk Va anti-ship cruise missiles in its 2022 Unfunded Priorities List to Congress.

SPMAGTF-CR-CC Marines practice using Drone Buster

Marines assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command (SPMAGTF-CR-CC) practice using the Drone Buster at an undisclosed location.

A U.S. Marine with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command (SPMAGTF-CR-CC), participates in Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) training in the United States Central Command area of operations, May 21, 2021.
