DOT&E raises concern over the testing of the F/A-18 IRST Block II

The Pentagon’s Director of Operational Test and Evaluation (DOT&E) has raised concerns with the operational testing schedule of the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 Infrared Search and Track (IRST) Block II program.

Recovery of F4F-3 flown previously by 4 U.S. Navy aces

A and T Recovery, a U.S. company that specializes in recovering WW II aircraft, has proposed to recover four warbirds that were lost when aircraft carrier USS Lexington was sunk.
