Airbus Helicopters handed over 3 AS565 MBe to PT Dirgantara Indonesia
Airbus Helicopters has delivered the first three of the 11 AS565 MBe Panther helicopters to PT Dirgantara Indonesia which will configure the machines for anti-submarine warfare.

Indian Navy getting another 12 Do 228s
The Indian government has approved the request by the Navy to buy 12 upgraded Do 228 maritime patrol aircraft from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

U.S. Navy creating an upgunned Expeditionary Strike Group for Asia Pacific
Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet recently told reporters that the sailing branch is creating an upgunned Expeditionary Strike Group that will combine a traditional three-ship Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) with a three ship guided-missile destroyer surface action group (SAG).

Snapped CDP behind the loss of Russian MiG-29K
A Russian newspaper said the loss of a MiG-29K off Syria was not due to technical difficulties on board the fighter. Instead, the cross deck pendants (CDP) on carrier Admiral Kuznetsov had snapped during the landing of a MiG-29K. The flight deck crew was unable to replace the arresting cables in time for the third jet to trap.
