Deck landing qualifications for VMM-265 (Rein.) as Bonhomme Richard ARG starts spring patrol

A CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, takes off from the flight deck of the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) Feb. 6, 2016. The Marines of VMM-265 (Rein.), 31st MEU, were conducting deck landing qualifications with the various aircraft of the 31st MEU's aviation combat element. P-8A to launch torpedoes off South Carolina coast

Between Feb. 11 to 16, a U.S. Navy P-8A will drop up to twelve torpedoes off South Carolina coast during a training exercise. The torpedoes will be the Mark 54 model and the U.S. Navy is expected to recover them.

INS Viraat will retire as museum in Vizag

India’s oldest aircraft carrier, INS Viraat, will head to Vizag in the state of Andhra Pradesh as a floating museum after its decommissioning later this year.

France to delivery Mistral helicopter carriers to Egypt in June and September
