Obama administration approves sale of maritime weapons to Vietnam

The U.S. government has given the green light to sell maritime security-related weapons to Vietnam, partially lifting a long-time lethal weapons ban to the South East Asia country.

NAS Lemoore selected as West Coast base for F-35C

The U.S. Navy has decided to base the F-35C aircraft at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore. A total of 100 aircraft will eventually be stationed there.

Taiwan lawmaker suggests deploying Chaparral missiles in Spratly Islands

Taiwan is on course to deploy the Tien Chien II surface-to-air missile on Taiwan’s Lafayette-class frigates, Deputy Minister of National Defense Kao Tien-chung said.
