DARPA’s DyNAMO to enable independently designed networks to share information

DARPA has published the Broad Agency Announcement solicitation for its Dynamic Network Adaptation for Mission Optimization (DyNAMO) program, which seeks to enable current incompatible airborne radio networks to share information and adapt to sporadic jamming.

Russia to develop new air-launched high-speed UAV based on Tu-143

Russia will start research into a high-speed unmanned aerial vehicle that is launched from an aircraft. To start off, researchers will use the Tupolev Tu-143 unmanned reconnaissance aircraft from the 1970s as the basis.

U.S. Navy took control of airborne EW pod from ship using Link 16

A team from Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division successfully took control of an airborne electronic warfare (EW) pod mounted on a AV-8B from a ship using Link 16 during Talisman Sabre 2015 in Australia.
