China has increased the number of missiles aimed at Taiwan from 1,400 to 1,600. The new DF-16 missile is field against Taiwan for the first time.

U.S. scales down missile defense exercise with Israel

Pentagon planning to deploy X-Band radars in southern Japan and Southeast Asia
The Wall Street Journal reported that Pentagon officials are planning to deploy an X-Band radar on an undisclosed southern Japanese island and have also been evaluating sites in Southeast Asia for a third X-Band radar.
