The Wall Street Journal reported that Pentagon officials are planning to deploy an X-Band radar on an undisclosed southern Japanese island and have also been evaluating sites in Southeast Asia for a third X-Band radar.
Once completed, the three radars will create an arc that will look inside North Korea and China. The Philippines has been mentioned as a potential site.
