Japan’s Kyodo news agency says Tokyo believes Pyongyang might have launched two Rodong ballistic missiles towards Japan simultaneously to confuse early warning missile detection systems. One missile exploded in mid-air.
North Korea fired a Rodong single stage, mobile liquid propellant medium range ballistic missile towards Japan today and the main body landed 250km west of Oga Penisular.
