Russia has admitted that it was the Kanopus ST military satellite that failed to reach orbit and it still attached to its Soyuz-2-1v rocket after one of the four locks holding it failed to unlatch.

Lebanon rejects Russian Navy’s request to close airspace for exercise
Russian Navy warships in the Mediterranean wanted to conduct an exercise and Moscow sent a request to Lebanon to have part of its airspace closed for the war games. Lebanon turned down the request.

Carlisle: A-10 retirement date will probably move “to the right”
Due to several factors, the U.S. Air Force is considering shifting the retirement date of the A-10 and give the attack jet a few more years of service, said Gen. Herbert “Hawk” Carlisle, commander of Air Combat Command.
