A new documentary film by Portland documentarian Ilana Sol on the bombing of Oregon by Nobuo Fujita and Okuda Shoji on Sept. 9, 1942 will be shown at the Hollywood Theatre in Oregon on Jun. 22.

There was one USN P-8A in South China Sea as Liaoning enters the area
Data collected by ADS-B Exchange suggest a U.S. Navy P-8A was sent over the South China Sea as the Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning was reported to have entered the area on Jun. 18.

U.S. has a new long-range air-to-air missile to counter China
An American general told Steve Trimble that a new long-range air-to-air missile is being develop to counter the Chinese PL-15.
F-35A Lightning II test aircraft assigned to the 31st Test Evaluation Squadron from Edwards Air Force Base, California, released AIM-120 AMRAAM and AIM-9X missiles at QF-16 targets during a live-fire test over an Air Force range in the Gulf of Mexico on June 12, 2018. The Joint Operational Test Team conducted the missions as part of Block 3F Initial Operational Test and Evaluation.
