FA-50GF makes debut at Polish National Armed Forces Day

The event marked the debut of the first two FA-50GF jets delivered to the Polish Air Force, signifying a significant step in Poland’s military modernization efforts. The impressive flights over Warsaw on Aug. 15 underscored the FA-50GF’s adaptability and prowess, capturing the attention of spectators and officials alike. The FA-50GF jets, developed by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), soared above Warsaw’s skies in formation with Poland’s Mig-29s.

Sweden again offers the JAS-30 for Philippines MRF project

In a reaffirmation of cooperation, Sweden has once again extended its offer of the Saab JAS-39 “Gripen” multi-role fighter aircraft to the Philippines for the country’s Multi-Role Fighter (MRF) project. The announcement was made during a meeting between Sweden’s Ambassador to the Philippines, Annika Thunborg, and Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto C. Teodoro Jr. at the DND headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on August 14, 2023.
