F-35C coming to MCAS Iwakuni after 2021

The U.S. Navy will deploy the F-35C carrier-borne stealth fighter to MCAS Iwakuni, Japan after 2021, a navy official told The Yomiuri Shimbun.

Luftwaffe Tornado fighters lack updated encryption comms

A report by Reuters says German Air Force Tornado fighter-bombers might not be able to join NATO missions as the jets cannot communicate over encrypted channels.

Iranian military attache caught trying to smuggle Kh-31 parts out of Ukraine

Early this year, two Iranians were caught by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Kiev with parts for the Kh-31 anti-ship missile inside their vehicle.

LSO remotely takes over F/A-18

For the first time, a landing signals officer (LSO) was able to remotely take over a F/A-18 on the glide path and bring it aboard an aircraft carrier for a touch-and-go.

Russia said to have deployed two Su-34s to Syria

A news report says Russia has deployed two more Su-34 fighter-bombers to Syria. They flew into Hmeimim Air Base with a Tu-154M on Mar. 29.
