Raytheon not offering air-to-air variant of AMRAAM-ER

Jane’s was told by Raytheon at the Dubai airshow that the company has no plans to evolve the AMRAAM-ER into an air-to-air missile.

AW129’s successor designated as AW249

Taiwan converts Mk 82 into depth charge

Taiwan has converted the Mk 82 general-purpose bomb into a depth charge and it will be deployed on its P-3C. A separation test from the Orion has been carried out successfully.

Norway to buy 60 AIM-120 C-7s

The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency has notified Congress Nov. 14 on a possible sale of 40 AIM-120 C-7 air-to-air missiles to Norway.
