F-15E pilot credits Yokota aero club for kick-starting his fast jet career
Prior to being F-15E pilot with the 494th Fighter Squadron, 1st Lt. Andy Schloemer was a UH-1 Huey helicopter flight engineer with the 374th Operations Group at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Schloemer credits his flying experience at the Yokota Aero Club for helping him kick-start his fast jet career.
